Canoe better than bunker on shore By Jan TenBruggencate Most of the crew spent at least one of the two nights at French Frigate Shoals sleeping on shore. I stayed on the canoe. I stayed in the concrete Coast Guard bunker once in the 1970s, and all in all, I like the canoe better.
