Bad weather hits crew hard By Jan TenBruggencate After a day on beautiful Kure Atoll, the crew endured its worst day at sea. Steering the canoe into the face of a gale was misery, as jet-propelled raindrops hit my eyeballs. It was cold, even in full foul weather gear.
