Honolulu fire investigators have determined that the cause of a blaze that destroyed one house and damaged another last month in Kaneohe was accidental.

The fire at 45-906 Anoi Road began in a refrigerator in a garage, although the exact manner in which it began is unknown.
The fire destroyed a single-family home and damaged a second home on the property.
No one was home in the house that was destroyed. A man sustained a minor injury while escaping the second house.
