FINE DINING

When it's time to dine (as opposed to just eat), these are O'ahu's most revered places.

BANYAN VERANDA, Sheraton Moana Surfrider

The Banyan Veranda combines both indoor and outdoor dining — on the wide, breezy veranda that dates back to 1901 and inside an adjacent courtyard-view wing of Waikiki's oldest hotel. Meal service includes a lavish, local-friendly Sunday brunch (see Brunch, Page 47), afternoon tea Monday through Saturday and nightly dinners featuring the Pacific Rim cuisine of chef Ralph Bauer. The sort of experience that draws people to the Islands.
