2004 'ILIMA AWARD WINNER - FINE DINING
When it's time to dine (as opposed to just eat), these are O'ahu's most revered places.

Best Hotel Restaurant, O'ahu
HOKU'S, Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel

A beautiful room, a bountiful world-fusion menu and the blue sea right out the windows characterize the Kahala Mandarin's fine-dining restaurant. Chef Joshua Nudd is in charge now, overseeing a menu of imaginative Pacific-Asian creations using everything from the wok to the tandoori oven. The presentation is especially dramatic here, in keeping with the room's aesthetic. Try anything seafood and save room for the dessert sampler.
