Bob's Big Boy

The familiar Big Boy statue greets customers as they arrive at Bob's Big Boy Restaurant in Mapunapuna. Chain store or not, it's a local favorite.

Yes, it's a chain, but it's the only representative of the chain in Hawai'i, it's a neighborhood institution, and we think the burgers and shakes are just great, transporting us right back to a '50s malt shop. Lots of good local-style plate lunch dishes, too.
