2005 'ILIMA AWARD WINNER - BEST NOODLE SHOP

In the 10th anniversary year of the 'Ilima Awards, these are the restaurants that turned the heads of our readers and our in-house food experts.

BEST NOODLE SHOP
Jimbo Restaurant

The fact that the udon noodles are made fresh daily at Jimbo's ensures that they arrive nice and chewy to your table, whether they come refreshingly cold, fried or in a hot broth. Rice lovers needn't go away dejected as donburi and curry rice options are also available. Patrons filling the restaurant's simple interior usually include Japanese college transplants who know they can get a decent, satisfying and reasonably priced meal here. Expect a wait.
