Our home-grown answer to McDonald's and Burger King, L&L is a perennial "best plate lunch" 'Ilima Award winner owned by Johnson Kam and Eddie Flores, who have busily expanded to 50 Island locations and 62 Mainland "Hawaiian Barbecue" spots. Chicken katsu plate lunch remains the hottest seller, but the teri chicken is also a winner. They helped pioneer mini-plates, and our waistlines are grateful.
