2005 'ILIMA AWARD WINNER - BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT

In the 10th anniversary year of the 'Ilima Awards, these are the restaurants that turned the heads of our readers and our in-house food experts.

BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT
Kyo-ya

Both in its tea-house days (1958 to 1991) and since its award-winning renovation in contemporary Japanese style, Kyo-ya has been widely regarded as Hawai'i's most beautiful and refined Japanese restaurant.
