House Without a Key, Halekulani Hotel

Sipping a drink at sunset and watching Kanoe Miller dance the hula at House Without a Key is as close as you can get to the gracious days when friends were invited in for cocktails at the beach home that once occupied this coveted location. You can order hot or cold pupu or a light supper of pasta, roast chicken, steak or a burger; entertainment is 5:30-8:30 p.m. except Sundays.

Halekulani hotel, 2199 Kalia Road. 923-2311. Breakfast: 7-10:30 a.m. Monday-Saturday, 7:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday; Lunch: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Dinner: 5-9 p.m. daily. Valet and self-parking. No reservations. VS, MC, AX, DC, JCB. No checks. Breakfast buffet: $$$. Lunch and dinner: $$.
