  CASUAL DINING

When we're not in a dress-up mood, when it's lunch with a friend or dinner with a crowd, when we want to eat well without breaking the bank, these are the restaurants we choose.

On Jin's Cafe

Opera singer turned restaurateur OnJin Kim brings the same grace and good taste to her menus as she brought to the performing stage. We prefer evenings here, when there's sit-down service and parking isn't impossible. At lunch, there's always stress and confusion as you dither between jumping at the first empty table or losing your place in the order line. But whatever time of day you go, the food at On Jin's is consistently delicious, often interesting (boolgogi-kim chee sandwiches at lunch, lobster ravioli at dinner) and refreshingly healthful with sides such as white bean salad and a generous serving of well-made leafy green salad.
