  CASUAL DINING

When we're not in a dress-up mood, when it's lunch with a friend or dinner with a crowd, when we want to eat well without breaking the bank, these are the restaurants we choose.

Pavilion Cafe

Chef Mike Nevin presides at a lovely indoor-outdoor place to eat in a courtyard at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, with views of artworks and a water feature. The piadina sandwich is a must and the Salade Nicoise, as well as the Italian-style white bean salad, are very popular. Everything is done with such beauty and grace, we continue to wish Nevin would open for dinner.
