  CASUAL DINING

When we're not in a dress-up mood, when it's lunch with a friend or dinner with a crowd, when we want to eat well without breaking the bank, these are the restaurants we choose.

Side Street Inn

This restaurant/sports bar/karaoke spot gained fame as the place where celebrity chefs hang out after work, but the fame wouldn't have lasted if the food hadn't been so good, because it's definitely got some drawbacks: no parking; less than friendly servers; noise and smoke. Our advice: Reserve Side Street for a late Saturday afternoon when you've finished your chores or shopping and feel like a beer, some sports on TV and a plate of pork chops and fried rice. It'll be the best pork chops and fried rice you've ever had.
