  CASUAL DINING

When we're not in a dress-up mood, when it's lunch with a friend or dinner with a crowd, when we want to eat well without breaking the bank, these are the restaurants we choose.

Wai'oli Tea Room

Hawai'i's past comes alive at the Wai'oli Tea Room, built in 1922 by the Salvation Army as a children's classroom. Whether it's a breakfast of Belgian waffles, a light lunch of the famed Wai'oli chicken curry salad or a quaint afternoon tea of finger sandwiches and pastries on the veranda (by appointment only), the clock practically stops as you experience the old-fashioned charm of this historic stone building tucked away in a garden in Manoa Valley.
