BREAKFAST, BRUNCH, BUFFET
| Islanders are inordinately fond of the three "Bs" — breakfast, brunch, buffet. When The Advertiser sent out a call for nominees for best breakfast spot a while back, we got an avalanche, with many strong opinions. And because we are so volume- and value-conscious, brunches and buffet spreads have strong appeal. |

Prince Court, Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki |
Prince Court has a new chef, Khamtan Tahncheleun (aka "Chef Kam"), formerly of the Halekulani hotel and the Ko'olau Catering Partners who has spearheaded a return to table service in this window-lined dining room. But he remains committed to offering brunch and buffet spreads that appeal both to visitors and locals. There's a daily breakfast buffet (including Japanese options), a Friday night seafood buffet with poke, sushi and pho stations, a Sunday brunch (the usual breakfast foods plus sushi, pho, shabu shabu, multiple hot dishes).
