Islanders are inordinately fond of the three "Bs" — breakfast, brunch, buffet. When The Advertiser sent out a call for nominees for best breakfast spot a while back, we got an avalanche, with many strong opinions. And because we are so volume- and value-conscious, brunches and buffet spreads have strong appeal.




Todai Waikiki

This all-you-can-eat buffet quickly became a fixture for its abundance and variety of sushi and seafood. Though there have been some menu changes (no more all-you-can-eat lobster) and it's pretty much always crowded and noisy with servers slammed, it continues to be popular with budget-conscious local families and visitors.
