Kincaid's Fish, Chop and Steak House  Past 'Ilima Award winner
Part of the Seattle-based chain conglomerate that includes Ryan's Grill, this tiered room overlooking Kewalo Basin boat harbor remains a power-lunch spot popular for its fish specials (including the annual Copper River Salmon celebration every spring), for the view, and for the ease of parking. People come just for the crab dip and efficient service. Other signature dishes include honey-peppercorn salmon and the longtime favorite trio of salads and the trademark burnt creme. Happy hour, 4 to 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to closing nightly, is a big draw with its half-off appetizers and $2.99 beer specials.
