CHEAP EATS
South Shore Grill
Started by Linda Gehring (spouse of Ted Tsakiris of Teddy's Bigger Burgers), South Shore Grill is now owned by Bruce Bryant and the cheap, quick food with a gourmet twistis still in place. South Shore serves plate lunches, heaping sandwiches, well-stuffed burritos and salads. The boldly colored interior might remind you of a clown, but they aren't fooling around with half-pound burgers topped with chipotle aioli; double-orders of fish tacos, and Caprese salad made with mozzarella. The plates all come with tuna-mac salad and the signature vinegary slaw. Save room for desserts.
