No longer the new malasada in the box, Champion has been in business for 24 years. The secret of Joc Miw's ultra-light Macao-style malasada, we're told, is allowing the rich dough to season a bit before frying it up into the classic hole-less doughnuts. Also special here: chewy, rich hot-cross buns and melting mini chiffon cakes. Strictly take-out.
