Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory  Cheap eats restaurant Local classic eatery
Be ready to circle endlessly looking for parking at the Kalihi location, then take a number. You can get plate lunches, but the freshly made noodle dishes and baked and steamed manapua and dumplings are the main draws. The steamed manapuas come in flavors such as shoyu chicken, garlic chicken, pizza (!), teri beef, kalua pork and roast duck. Founded in 1942 by Wah Kam Chun, his son, Nelson Chun who also is the chief legal counsel at Alexander & Baldwin now owns the noodle factory, and family members run the two stores.
