AMERICAN CONTEMPORARY
The Pavilion Cafe
When we relax into The Pavilion Café's roomy teak chairs, gazing out at the adjacent sun-washed Luce Pavilion courtyard with its water feature and Asian pottery sculptures by Jun Kaneko, we're happy. We know the food will be both healthful and good, and the museum setting tends to elevate the conversation. Among the salads, soups, sandwiches, we're partial to the piadina (arugula, veggies, pesto and two Italian cheeses on grilled flatbread) and recently enjoyed the feta, tapenade and Hau'ula tomato on focaccia.
