Super Bowl: Manning the biggest star by far on Media Day

MIAMI — Four MVP awards carry quite a bit of clout.
So it was no surprise that Peyton Manning’s appearance at Super Bowl media day was part rock star, part presidential, with a bit of a scrum thrown in for good measure.
The Indianapolis Colts quarterback was clearly the biggest attraction on Tuesday, his podium surrounded by as many as 100 reporters, photographers and cameramen throughout his hour-long session.
The media was already staking out spots an hour ahead of time, and there was even a bit of jostling between two journalists before Manning arrived. A police officer was called, but everything was sorted out without any further problems.
