Hype 5-0, the first hip-hop crew selected to represent Hawaii in MTV’s “Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew” will compete tonight in the first round show’s season-five nationals.
Last week, the seven-member Oahu crew competed against four other crews representing the west in a regional competition. Hype 5-0 was among the top three selected by judges to advance to the national competition.

Fans will be encouraged to vote for their favorite crew. During tonight’s show, hosts will provide phone numbers and other information about voting, which will be under way for a short period.
