University of Hawai‘i women’s volleyball outside hitter Stephanie Ferrell will transfer, according to the school.

Ferrell completed her sophomore season and third year in the program in 2009. She will have two years remaining of eligibility.

“Stephanie has expressed desire to go in a different direction and we are comfortable with that decision,” UH head coach Dave Shoji said. “She was a contributor to our program, but we wish her well in her new endeavor.”
