Ward Avenue bank held up for third time since Feb. 11
A man robbed the First Hawaiian Bank branch on Ward Avenue yesterday morning, the third time that branch was robbed since Feb. 11.
Police said the bank manager called at 10:31 a.m. yesterday to report the latest robbery.
The robber showed that he had a handgun. He wore a blue hat, surgical mask, a white T-shirt and cargo pants.
A teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the man, who left the bank on foot and was last seen heading toward Ward Avenue.
The same branch was robbed on Feb. 11 and Feb. 16.
