Honolulu firefighters came to the aid of a 64-year-old female hiker with non-life-threatening injuries who was hurt around noon yesterday on the Lanikai Pill Box trail.

Firefighters hiked from the trailhead near Mid-Pacific Country Club and found the woman about 200 yards from the first pillbox, the Honolulu Fire Department said.
The woman was airlifted to Lanikai Community Park.
