Suspect sought in First Hawaiian Bank robbery on Beretania Street

This man robbed the First Hawaiian Bank at 1111 S. Beretania St. yesterday around 3:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as an African-American man in his 30s to 40s, about 5 feet 8 to 6 feet and between 160 and 200 pounds.

Police and CrimeStoppers are looking for a man who robbed the First Hawaiian Bank at 1111 S. Beretania St. yesterday around 3:30 p.m.

A CrimeStoppers news release said the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money. No weapon was seen and the man then fled on foot toward Young Street.
The man is described as African-American, in his 30s to 40s, about 5 feet 8 to 6 feet and between 160 and 200 pounds.
He was wearing a dark-colored wig, beige long-sleeve collared shirt and dress slacks. He had a black mustache and prescription glasses and was carrying a black duffle bag.

There have been more than a half dozen bank robberies on Oahu this year so far.
