Woman an apparent drowning victim on Big Island

A 28-year-old woman apparently drowned yesterday at Keei Beach in Kona.
A news release from the Hawaii County Fire Department says units responded to a call at 6:10 p.m.
Firefighters and paramedics found the woman on the rocky shoreline, with bystanders performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Paramedics took the woman to Kona Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
