Here's what's new on DVD shelves.
"The Wedding Date" (Universal Home Entertainment, 90 mins.) In director Clare Kilner's inversion of "Pretty Woman," Debra Messing hires gigolo Dermot Mulroney to squire her to her sister's nuptials. PG-13 (sexual candor, nudity, profanity).
"The Brown Bunny" (Sony Pictures/Columbia/TriStar Home Entertainment, 92 mins.) Vincent Gallo's exercise in retro road-moviedom is also one huge ego trip, as the filmmaking actor drives cross- country, encounters various women, and ends up in an L.A. hotel room for the now infamous hard-core sex scene. No MPAA rating (explicit sex, profanity, drugs, adult themes).
"Mambo Kings" (Warner Home Video Entertainment, 106 mins.) Cuban musician brothers take America by storm. Additional songs by Linda Ronstadt and Los Lobos. With Antonio Banderas and Armand Assante. R.
"My Left Foot" (Buena Vista Home Entertainment, 103 mins.) An alternative to the general run of "triumph over the odds" biopics, "My Left Foot" is the true story of Irish cerebral palsy victim Christy Brown. With Daniel Day-Lewis, Brenda Fricker and Ruth McCabe. R.
