Things may get a little noisy in Kailua and Kane'ohe today.

Marines on Kane'ohe Bay will be conducting war games from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, according to a statement released yesterday by Marine Corps Base Hawai'i.

The training will include "rockets and small-arms fire," according to the statement. "Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sounds of explosions may be amplified and heard in surrounding communities."
