W.H. and her four children share a two-bedroom apartment with another family, the only way they can afford the rent.

She works full time in a maintenance job, but her paycheck is barely enough to cover all of her family's expenses.

"I'm working hard to provide better opportunities for my family," W.H. said.

Her children's father is in prison, and W.H. has been seeing a psychiatrist to deal with emotional issues stemming from the couple's relationship. She said the holidays are difficult for her family because the children's father is not with them.

This single mother has also struggled to find childcare.

W.H. doesn't make enough money to buy her children new clothes and would appreciate new outfits her children could wear to school.

W.H.'s daughters, ages 4, 7 and 8, have requested dolls from Santa this Christmas. Her 8-year-old son would like toy cars, trucks or action figures. The family also needs a stove, pots and utensils, said their social worker.

Christmas Fund donations are used for families who need help through the holidays. Any money remaining after the holidays will be used to help those in need throughout the year.

Our anonymous Santa will match the first $25 of each donation to the Christmas Fund.
