Radford cross country runner Katherine Hoarn and Saint Louis wrestler Brandon Low have been named Hawai'i's winners of the 2005 Wendy's High School Heisman Award.
The annual awards honor high school seniors who excel in athletics, academics and community service.
The two will join two winners from each state and the District of Columbia. Each winner will receive a silver medal. They will also compete in the next round of the competition where 12 national finalists — a male and a female from six regions — will be selected. National finalists will be announced in mid-November and national winners will be named in December in conjunction with the collegiate Heisman presentation.
