Sunset on the Beach travels to Waimanalo this weekend for two days full of entertainment: a children's center full of arts and crafts, games and rides; a marketplace of Waimanalo businesses and community organizations; a display of vintage cars, hot rods and motorcycles; health expo; food booths; and of course, movies.

Tonight's film is "The Ride," about a young surfer who somehow travels back in time and meets the young Duke Kahanamoku. Tomorrow's film is "National Treasure," starring Nicolas Cage as a hunter of artifacts.

There's a food drive, too: Bring canned goods or other nonperishables, which will be distributed to nonprofits in Waimanalo.

Hours are from noon to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow at Waimanalo Beach Park. The films hit the screen at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
