"American Dreamz": A satire with two targets, "American Idol" and President Bush, not in that order. Hugh Grant plays the producer and star of an "Idol"-like TV show, and Dennis Quaid is the president whose Cheneyesque chief of staff (Willem Dafoe) is a puppet master. "The Sentinel": Michael Douglas plays a veteran Secret Service agent who is having an affair with the first lady (Kim Basinger). "Silent Hill": Based on the video-game survivor series. Sean Bean and Radha Mitchell star in a horror tale about a woman who journeys into another dimension to retrieve her daughter.
