Linemen with Isle ties on short list

Oregon senior center Enoka Lucas, Oregon State sophomore offensive guard Jeremy Perry and Utah senior left tackle Tavo Tupola were added to the 37th Annual Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List, which recognizes the nation's premier college football lineman.
Lucas, a 2002 Kamehameha graduate, Perry, a 2004 Kahuku graduate, and Tupola, a 1999 Kahuku graduate, are all also on the watch list for the Outland Trophy.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Duke junior Tia Ferguson (Seabury Hall '04) was selected to the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll for the 2005-06 year.
WOMEN'S TENNIS
Long Beach State senior Krystina Katayama (Punahou '03 of Kailua) was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Scholar-Athlete for the 2005-06 year.
Cal Poly Pomona's Katrina Holmberg (King Kekaulike of Pukalani) was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II Scholar-Athlete for the 2005-06 year.
Pomona Pitzer sophomore Anne Yoshizawa (Baldwin of Kahului) was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Scholar-Athlete for the 2005-06 year.
Redlands' Jenna Umeno, a senior, (Baldwin of Kahului) and sophomore Kaleena Wakamatsu (Baldwin) were named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Scholar-Athletes for the 2005-06 year.
Whitworth's Sandy Fujitani (King Kekaulike of Kula) was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Scholar-Athlete for the 2005-06 year.
MEN'S TENNIS
Dartmouth junior Robbie Lim (Punahou '04 of Honolulu) was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Scholar-Athlete for the 2005-06 year.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Fairfield senior libero Kiana Kauwe (Kamehameha of Honolulu) was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll for the 2005-06 year.
Kauwe is a marketing major.
Junior outside hitter/middle hitter Lindsey Lee (St. Joseph '04 of Hilo) was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team.
COMMITMENT
Jacklynn "Jackie" Tema of Kaimuki High School received a full ride scholarship to play softball at Eastern Arizona College.
She will play catcher and third base, according to Mililani Prep coach Glenn Jicha.
