Art deco jewelry fetch top appraisals

 •  Crowds roll in for 'Antiques Roadshow'

The top item at yesterday's "Antiques Roadshow" filming was a collection of art deco jewelry — a broach, two necklaces and a diamond ring — that was valued at between $145,000 to $197,000 at auction.

The runner-up was a rare, circa 1888, Hawaiian scene painting by artist Joseph Nawahi, that a couple paid $400 for. It was valued at between $100,000 and $150,000 at auction.
