"Indochine" is the theme of the Starlight Ball 2007, presented by ARTafterDARK and the Honolulu Academy of Arts.

The black-tie-optional event (that's your cue to dress up, folks!) is from 7 to 11 p.m.

Jan. 13 in the open-air courtyards of the museum.

Among the restaurants participating are Hoku's, 12th Avenue Grill, L'Uraku and E&O Trading Co. in addition to the museum's Pavilion Cafe chef Mike Nevin. There's also a martini bar and other drinks; the band Hard2Oppose and jazz by Chris Yeh. New this year: ART-tini, part of the silent auction, in which attendees can bid on 5-inch-by-7-inch canvas, 5-inch-by-7-inch paper or 7-inch cube pieces of art.
