A service for Del Courtney, the big band leader who helped revive swing music in the Islands, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Diamond Head Mortuary. It will be preceded by visitation at 3 p.m.

Courtney, 95, whose name was synonymous with tea dancing in Waikiki, died Feb. 11. It is requested that casual attire be worn to his service. Burial will take place at a later date in Hayward, Calif.
