QUICK BITES
Betty Crocker's retro revival

Advertiser Staff

The kitchen has been one of the prime scenes of retro resurrections — from KitchenAid mixers to Fiesta dishware. Now Twin Star flatware is back. Housewives and others snapped up more than 40 million pieces of the starry pattern between 1958 (when it was introduced in the very first Betty Crocker Catalog) and 1972, when it was retired. Look for it in Betty Crocker's 2006 Winter Catalog. In addition to flatware, the catalog offers dinnerware, cookware, kitchen tools, children's dishes and, of course, Betty Crocker cookbooks.
