For example, instead of leaving newspapers scattered about, keep them in a box while they await recycling. Other suggestions: Devote spaces for mail, purses, backpacks and briefcases; file paperwork so it never ends up in stacks on kitchen counters. "With a home to go to, good stuff will never become bad clutter," Ewer said.
