After a one-year break, funk-fusion, Latin-jazz-laced Quadraphonix returns tonight to Ong King Art Center (184 N. King St. at River, 306-7823, www.ongking.com).

The space's First Friday lineup starts at 9 p.m. After an Afro-Cuban drum-and-chant ensemble and a kung-fu demo, Quadraphonix takes the mikes. Then cool down with a performance by the Honolulu Underground Theater Collective.

Cover: $10 before 10 p.m., $12 after.
