TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE
"Eureka" debut, 6 p.m., Sci Fi Channel. Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is your standard U.S. marshal. He's transporting your standard teen runaway (Jordan Hinson). Then, as so often happens, they get stuck in a small town. Except this one is filled with soaring IQs and scary experiments. This movie launches a series that is the summer's happiest surprise.
OF NOTE
"Last Comic Standing," 8 p.m., NBC. Now only five — Barnett, Josh Blue, Chris Porter, Michele Balan and Roz — remain. Beginning tonight, viewers do the voting.
"Rock Star: Supernova" (CBS) and "The One: Making a Music Star" (ABC) debut; both 8 p.m. Similar shows collide.
"P.O.V.: The Fall of Fujimori," 10 p.m. PBS. It's a strange story, told here with a mixture of old footage and an interview former Peruvian president Alberto Fujimori gave while he was in Japan.
