K5 The Home Team will not televise the University of Hawai'i baseball team's regional games, according to John Fink, president and general manager of KHNL and K5.
"We looked at doing it, but between the short time frame and some other things, it didn't work out logistically," Fink said. "We would have loved to."
UH plays Kansas today at 9 a.m. Hawai'i time. Wright State and Oregon State are also in the double-elimination regional in Corvallis, Ore.
K5, which owns the television rights to UH sports, broadcasts most home baseball games.
Fink said K5 will not be televising the Super Regionals or Men's College World Series, which will be broadcast on the ESPN networks instead.
