Viloria closed to 7-5 with an escape, but Kurata selaed the victory with a late takedown.

Morita took a 2-0 lead 20 seconds into the match with a takedown. Low closed it to 2-1 with an escape, then got a takedown with 40 seconds remaining to go up, 3-2. Low suffered a cut below his left eye after the two apparently butted heads, and the match was delayed while trainers examined the cut. Low went up, 4-2, with an escape early in the second period, then took a 6-2 lead with a late takedown. Morita got an escape at the end of the period to close it to 6-3, then got another escape to close it to 6-4 early in the third period. That's how the score remained until six seconds left, when Low scored a takedown.

Eglinton scored on a reversal to cut it to 6-3, but Ball later had a takedown to make it 8-3. Eglinton escaped at the end of the period to close it to 8-4, then opened the third period with another escape to make it 8-5. Ball got a takedown to lead 10-5, but Eglinton escaped and then got a takedown to close it to 10-8 with one minute remaining. Ball escaped, then held on for the victory.

Kamaka'ala went up on an escape and takedown in the second period, but Pait tied the match with an escape and takedown of his own in the third. Kamaka'ala went ahead 6-5 on an escape with 23 seconds left before Pait's response.

Memea had an escape in the third period to lead 4-3, but Suckel answered with a takedown to lead 5-4. Memea tied it with an escape with 1:10 remaining, and they were tied 5-5 after regulation. Memea then won it with a takedown near the outer circle 34 seconds into overtime.

The two traded takedowns in the first period, then Fatongia was called for clasping, giving Nohara a 3-2 lead early in the second period. She went up 4-2 with an escape, but Fatongia tied it with a takedown. Nohara scored a reversal to go up, 6-4, then they traded escapes to make it 7-5 entering the third period. After Fatongia scored an escape to tie it at 7-7, Nohara went up 9-7 with a takedown with 14 seconds remaining. Fatonigia escaped with five seconds remaining to close to 9-8, then hit her head after falling out of bounds. After being examined by a trainer, she returned to finish the match but Nohara held on for the victory.
