Kona boy missing since Thursday

Big Island police are looking for a missing teenager.

Jesse Harris, 17, has been missing from his home in Kona since Thursday.

He is 5 feet 7, 130 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Officer James Lorenzo of Kona Patrol, (808) 326-4646, ext. 253, or the police nonemergency number at (808) 935-3311.

STATE NEEDS HELP TO FIND FOSTER CHILD

State child welfare officials are trying to locate a missing foster child who ran away last month.

Miller Ualesi, 16, was last seen Feb. 21 in Wai'anae.

He is 6 feet and 190 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

The state Department of Human Services asks anyone who sees the boy to call police.




KAUA'I

LANDSLIDE CLOSES KAMALU ROAD

Kaua'i authorities closed Kamalu Road in Wailua Homesteads early yesterday morning after a landslide.

Mud and debris washed onto the road from the rain, blocking it, Kaua'i firefighters said.

Authorities were unsure how long the road might be closed.
