To complement its production of "The Songmaker's Chair," on stage through April 15, Kumu Kahua Theatre and the University of Hawai'i are sponsoring "Pacific Island Migration: Art at Home and Away," with talks by Maori artist Katerina Teiawa, Maori poet Robert Sullivan, "Songmaker" playwright Albert Wendt and director Dennis Carroll.

RUN FOR JON MOZO
In honor of the inspirational surf photographer who died last year at Pipeline, students at Brigham Young University-Hawaii have organized the Jon Mozo 10K Run.
The event kicks off at 7 a.m. Saturday at Turtle Bay Resort. Proceeds go to the Jon Mozo Scholarship Fund at BYU, Mozo's alma mater.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and a chance to win gift certificates from sponsors. To register, visit www.active.com.
