Tonight's Must-See
"Bones," 7 p.m., Fox. Fresh from its baseball break, "Bones" re-establishes itself as intelligent and entertaining. Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) is a confident FBI agent who triumphs in social situations; Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is a forensic anthropologist, short on people skills. They contrast beautifully in this JonBenet-inspired story.
Of Note
"Jericho," 7 p.m., CBS. Can townspeople still celebrate Halloween at a time when cities have apparently been destroyed by nuclear blasts? It tries tonight. Meanwhile, Gray Anderson (Michael Gaston) returns with grim news about the outside world.
"30 Rock," 7 p.m., NBC. Liz (Tina Fey) has plenty of problems. She wants Jack (Alec Baldwin) to keep out of the writers' room; she wants Cerie to keep her clothes on. Meanwhile, Kenneth the page has trouble keeping up with Tracy's demands.
