Snorkeling and romance on Kaua'i

Aloha Beach Resort Kaua'i offers fall packages for travel through Dec. 20:
Room & Car, includes a choice of room category and a compact from Dollar Rent A Car. The Room & Car package starts at $140 per night for a garden-view room (rack rate is $198 per night). For stays through Oct. 31, the rate is $120 per night for a garden-view room, and the rental car will be upgraded to a midsize vehicle.
Ocean View, includes ocean-view room and daily breakfast for two for $145 per night (rack rate is $231 per night).
Snorkel Kaua'i, includes a garden-view or ocean-view room and daily breakfast buffet for two, eco-friendly fish food (two packages per day), snorkel mask and fins for two people; and use of one underwater camera to go snorkeling at Lydgate Beach Park's protected cove, home to many colorful fish. The package starts at $140 per night for garden-view or $160 for an ocean-view room.
Romance, for couples includes three nights in a garden-view room, ocean-view room, junior suite or private one-bedroom cottage, a bottle of sparkling wine, rental car and dinner one evening with a $75 dining credit. The three-night Romance rate starts at $495 for two in a garden-view room.
Families, children younger than 18 stay free when sharing a room with their parents and using existing bedding; and children under 12 eat free at dinner with a parent in the resort's restaurant.
