Pasha to ship in VWs, Audis

The Pasha Group said it has been awarded a multiyear contract to deliver all new Volkswagen and Audi automobiles to Hawai'i.
The vehicles will be shipped from San Diego on the MV Jean Anne operated by Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines.
California-based Pasha, which entered the Hawai'i vehicle shipping business in March 2005, did not disclose how many years the contract is for, or say how many Volks-wagen and Audi vehicles it expects to deliver.
HMSA TO HOLD JOB FAIR OCT. 23
The Hawaii Medical Service Association will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 23 at HMSA Center, 818 Ke'eaumoku St., in Honolulu.
HMSA has job openings in member and provider servicing, information systems, administration and clerical. Bring a current resume and be prepared for an interview.
HAWAIIAN AIR TOPS IN ON-TIME
Hawaiian Airlines led the nation in on-time performance and baggage handling in August, while Aloha Airlines had the second-best record in those categories.
The U.S. Department of Transportation said that Aloha had the fewest complaints from customers and fewest overbooked flights for August.
Hawaiian has led the airline industry for on-time performance for 34 straight months.
HAWTEL OFFERS BUNDLED SERVICE
Hawaiian Telcom yesterday launched a bundled high-speed Internet and unlimited long-distance service priced at $65.95 a month, excluding taxes. That's a $20 savings over the non-bundled price of about $86 a month for the same services, the company said.
