It'll be a daughter-and-father reunion when Hoku Ho, the singer, flies home from Los Angeles to join her dad, Don Ho, on stage at his Waikiki Beachcomber hotel show Sunday night.

Hoku has been in an L.A. studio recording her second album, for which she wrote all the tunes and also is co-producing. She will wish dad a belated birthday; Don turned 76 on Aug. 13.

"I've always told Hoku that she needs to write her own music to make a lot of money," said pere Ho.
